CBC cancellations and renewals

After announcing massive layoffs last week, CBC has revealed more details about what its future TV schedule will look like.

Sophomore comedy Sophie won't be getting a third season, having aired what turned out to be its series finale last week.

Critical darling Being Erica will return for a shorter second season. The Border, This Hour Has 22 Minutes and Little Mosque On The Prairie will also be back with shorter seasons, and the promise of more reruns.

Investigative shows like the Fifth Estate and Marketplace, meanwhile, will see reduced budgets.
