The Look: Julianna Margulies in Carolina Herrera

Julianna Margulies
looked fierce as all hell as she arrived at The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC on Monday. Oh yes she did.

The Emmy-winning star of The Good Wife opted for a Carolina Herrara pre-fall 2011 ensemble, consisting of a black top with sheer overlay, and bronze and black houndstooth skirt.

Margulies
put her best foot forward in black pumps, and accessorized with hoop earrings.

A slick mid-part and bold red lips finished off a stellar look.

Oh hey there, James Marsden (Part 1)

James Marsden looked just dashing in a suit on the NYC set of his new film The Bachelorette last week.

The romantic comedy sees Marsden star as one of three friends who are asked to be bridesmaids by a woman they ridiculued in their youth.

Adam Scott, Isla Fisher and Kirsten Dunst also star.

Click inside for a shot of casual Marsden from the same day. Equally cute, whole other outfit.

Oh hey there, James Marsden (Part 2)

James Marsden looks so damn hot in this new photoshoot for September's GQ.

The 37-year-old cutie pie was photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg, and donned tweed suits by Hickey Freeman, Simon Spurr, Tommy Hilfiger, Gant Rugger, and Club Monaco for the spread.

Marsden next appears in a remake of the 1971 film Straw Dogs.

"There's plenty of people out there who will say this movie did not need to be remade," he says. "But there are plenty of symphonies out there playing Mozart, you know?"

You just keep being pretty, and I won't bother arguing with you, honey bun.

2011 VMAs: Top Performances

In between all the canned banter, awkward Jessie J transitions and ridiculous Katy Perry costume changes, last night's Video Music Awards did offer some inspiring performances.

Here's my top five of the night. Check them out at MTV.ca.

1. Adele, Someone Like You
Once again, our girl Adele proved when you have a stunning voice and emotional connection to your music, you can leave the costumes and choreography at home.

2. Beyonce, Love On Top
Pregnancy isn't slowing her down yet. Beyonce effortlessly performed this upbeat ditty from her latest album 4, and finished it off with a suggestive rub of her baby bump. (Adele, Kanye and Jo Calderone were shown loving this performance too!)

3. Young The Giant, My Body
Perhaps trying to prove they're one step ahead of the masses, MTV gave us a performance by these indie rockers. I hadn't heard of them before, but I'm glad I do now. Their performance was jubilant!

4. Bruno Mars, Valerie
After speeches from Russell Brand and Tony Bennett, Bruno Mars took the stage and performed this Amy Winehouse song in her memory. He did a respectable job with the song, and I enjoyed the choreography.

5. Lady Gaga, You and I
While many have already complained they wanted something flashier from Gaga, opening the show as her male alter-ego Jo Calderone and fully committing to that persona, was something none of us were expecting. It was hard to turn away.

2011 MTV VMA Winners

Britney Spears was awarded Best Pop Video for Till The World Ends at the top of last night's MTV Video Music Awards, an evening that also saw the fan favourite honoured with the Video Vanguard Award.

Katy Perry also walked away with multiple moonmen, including the coveted Video Of The Year for Firework, and Best Collaboration for E.T. with Kanye West.

Foo Fighters took Best Rock Video, while Nicki Minaj won Best Hip Hop Video.

Justin Bieber made a point to thank both God and Jesus as he accepted the award for Best Male Video. Best Female Video went to Lady Gaga, who still wasn't giving up her male alter-ego act.

Best New Artist went to Tyler, The Creator, who I had never heard of before, but Twitter followers quickly suggested he's an anti-gay rapper. Can someone tell him we live in 2011 now? Eminem's cool with the gays, Tyler, The Creator needs to catch up.

And though she was shut out of broadcast categories, Adele's Rolling In The Deep won Best Cinematography, Best Director, Best Editing and Best Art Direction. Just wait till the Grammys when she sweeps the floor with all these suckers.

For a full list of 2011 VMA winners, click inside.

The best part of Lady Gaga's VMAs performance

Lady Gaga opened last night's VMAs with a monologue and musical performance as male alter-ego Jo Calderone.

If you want to catch the performance, click here.

Or, if you want to save yourself five minutes, I can tell you the best parts of the performance were cutaways to famous audience member reactions. Namely...

Britney Spears:

Adele:

and Justin Bieber:

You're welcome.

The Look: Beyonce in Lanvin

Beyonce announced she's pregnant with her first child as she arrived to last night's VMAs in L.A., and looked positively fah-lawless in the process.

The mama-to-be was radiant in a layered orange Lanvin fall 2011 gown that flowed without losing shape.

Beyonce's blonde tresses were styled in a loose side pony, while her Lorraine Schwartz earrings were outshone by the glowing look on her face.

Finishing off the look was an emerald ring, also by Lorraine Schwartz.

Does she look gorgeous, or does she look gorgeous?

Kelly Clarkson: Mr. Know-It-All leak

Kelly Clarkson with director Aben Eubanks on the 'Mr. Know-It-All' video set

Kelly Clarkson's new single Mr Know-It-All has leaked to the interwebs, four days prior to its official premiere.

My first reaction: It's not what I expected. I'm not sure how it'll work as a single. But I like it.

Casual Kelly fans who have come to expect boisterous power-pop anthems like Since U Been Gone and My Life Would Suck Without You may be disappointed.

This song, though catchy, isn't all about the pop hooks. It lets Kelly show off a little range, and have softer, prettier moments, as opposed to constant powerhouse belting.

The chorus rings a little like Bruno Mars' 'Just The Way You Are.' The melody reminds me a little of a Michelle Branch or even a Nathasha Bedingfield.

Overall, I think this is a good move for Ms. Clarkson. She's offering a slightly new sound for her, but not straying as far from her signature pop as her My December album did.

Kelly
's always maintained she's going to make the music she wants to make, and I'm excied to see what else she offers us from her new album 'Stronger,' to be released October 25.

Earlier this week Kelly commented on how she feels about all of her songs that leaked this summer. She also tweeted from the Mr. Know-It-All set.

What do you think of Kelly Clarkson's new single Mr. Know-It-All?

Alright Vinny, let's do this

I've only ever watched about three episodes of Jersey Shore. But through my limited exposure to the series, I quickly chose Vinny as the guido I would do.

He seems pretty nice, a little goofy, self-aware and not as horrible as the other male options.

(I also saw one episode where Snooki revealed what huge dick he has).

This video of him dancing with a group of kids to Foster The People's Pumped Up Kicks in a living room pretty much seals the deal.

Cute!

The Look: Rashida Jones in Charlotte Ronson

Rashida Jones looked super cute at the Charlotte Ronson Beauty launch in West Hollywood in L.A. on Tuesday

The Parks & Recreation and Our Idiot Brother star appropriately opted for a Charlotte Ronson ensemble, consisting of military blazer with black piping and matching shorts.

She finished the look with a red bag, black booties and a little bit of bling around her neck.

I think the look is cute, quirky and effortless. What do you think of it?

Rosie's new talk show promo

It's happening! It's really happening!

Take a look at the first preview of Rosie O'Donnell's new talk show, The Rosie Show.

The daily talker is premiering on OWN, the Oprah WInfrey Network, this October. Rosie's shooting the show out of the Chicago studios where Oprah shot her talk show that ended this year.

Which means a certain out is through reader who's in Chicago for grad school should make it a priority to go to a taping!

After a tumultuous return to TV as a cohost on The View in 2006, I'm excited to see Rosie back on TV doing it how she wants to do it.

Daily Rosie -- nothing could be better.

Quotable: Anderson Cooper

“I mean, I’ve always giggled like a 13 year-old girl at a Justin Bieber meet and greet. There’s nothing I can do about it but I’ve never not been able to stop. I’m a little stunned by how many people have seen that video. I went to bed telling myself, ‘I doubt anyone will notice the giggle fit.’ I woke up and in the elevator the first thing my building super said to me was, ‘What’s wrong with your laugh?’ It could be worse: I could have a viral video in which I throw up on a guest or drunkenly eat a hamburger on a bathroom floor. Not that I’ve ever done either of those things. Not yet at least.”

-- Anderson Cooper to Entertainment Weekly, on his on-air giggle fit.

A Clueless reunion!

Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd reunited earlier this week on the red carpet for Mr. Rudd's new movie Our Idiot Brother in NYC.

The onscreen step-siblings/love interests look even better than they did in the 90s, I daresay.

In other Clueless news, kudos to Worn Fashion Journal for putting together this video showcasing all of Cher Horowitz' Clueless outfits in under 60 seconds.

Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) gets a job

Here's a promising nugget for former TGIF stars hoping to re-enter the world of acting.

Ben Savage -- that's Cory Matthews to Boy Meets World fans -- has booked a guest spot on the FOX hit Bones.

"First day on the set of 'Bones'. Great show and a very talented cast!" the actor, who hasn't been seen much since Boy Meets World ended in 2000, tweeted this week.

"Just shot a killer scene with @David_Boreanaz. Really enjoying my time on 'Bones'..." he continued.

Savage is playing a "murder suspect who is married to another suspect who has bought a lottery ticket with another two suspects."

I certainly hope Mr. Feeny snagged a role as one of those other suspects!

Lion King bloopers

In anticipation of the upcoming 3D release of The Lion King, here come some never-before-seen bloopers.

This vid inspired me to watch my Lion King DVD on the weekend, and let me tell you that film still holds up all these years later.

I mean, repeated viewings of I Just Can't Wait To Be King, and goosebumps during Can You Feel The Love Tonight.

I remember blasting the soundtrack in the car as a kid, and singing along with my cousins while camping.

Can you believe it was first released in 1994 when I was 10, and now it's 2011 and I'm 27?

Goddamn, I'm old.

The CNE: Marilyn Monroe in Canada

It's been a while since my last visit to the Canadian National Exhibition.

From childhood memories I remember the food building, horses (and horseshit), plus games and rides that you had to pay tickets for, which somehow hindered the carefree nature of the carnival setting.

But this year the CNE could be worth a return visit, thanks to the Marilyn Monroe in Canada exhibit at the Queen Elizabeth Building.

A selection from the McMichael Canadian Art Collection shows photographs and memorabilia of the blonde icon in Canadian settings, including standing tall beside a Mountie in Banff (above), paddling in a canoe, and standing next to Miss Canada in a vintage Maclean's article.

"What we were showing is that there is a sustained interest in Marilyn. Her pop culture appeal transcends borders," says exhibition curator Chris Finn. "We wanted to create a Canadian connection to Marilyn Monroe."

I had no idea a Mariliyn Monroe Canadian connection existed, so this exhibition would be entertaining as well as educational for me.

For more info on Marilyn in Canada, and other exhibits at the CNE, click here.

Ryan Gosling: Now even more perfect

Jesus H. Christ, as if we needed another reason to swoon over Ryan Gosling.

The talented, hilarious, adorable, sexy hunk of man can now add superhero to his illustrious resume.

As onlookers videotaped an NYC street fight this weekend (by their laughs I'm going to assume they thought it was some sort of street theatre?), they were shocked to see the actor from The Notebook eventually step in to break up the fight.

Yes, that's right. Mr. Ryan Gosling and his bulging biceps came in to bring peace back to this NYC street.

Because yeah, he's perfect like that.

He really makes me thank god for the invention of tank tops.

Tessa Bonhomme, David Pelletier(!) join Battle of the Blades

(Oh how I'd love to ride David Pelletier like this).

In what can only be described as earth-shattering, barrier-breaking news, CBC's Battle of the Blades will welcome it's first-ever female hockey-player competitor when its third season premieres Sunday September 18.

That's right. Tessa Bonhomme, Olympic gold medalist and member of the Canadian national women’s hockey team, will compete against a cast of male NHL veterans, each matched up with a different professional figure skater.

Bonhomme's partner? The incomporable David Pelletier, Olympic gold medal figure skater.

As you may recall, I proposed marriage to David Pelletier after his hullarious Vancouver 2010 Olympic figure skating commentary.

While I'd probably be more likely to watch the show if Pelletier was judge or host, I'm pretty excited he's signed on in any capacity.

Family Matters: Rappin' Winslows

[Embedding disabled. Click image to be taken to video. It is way worth it.]

For my birthday last month, my bro bought me the first season of Family Matters on DVD.

It joins my random seasons of Full House and Boy Meets World on the shelf, to make for quite the fun TGIF collection. (Someone please release Step by Step on DVD already!)

It took me just about a week to plow through the first season of Family Matters. It's an interesting watch, because it starts out as a sincere family sitcom about Carl and Harriet Winslow, their kids and extended live-in family members.

Then around episode 12, out of nowhere, nerdy next-door neighbour Steve Urkel shows up and becomes the show. Seriously, the back 10 episodes of the season each involve Urkel in some capacity, plus a secondary storyline featuring another member of the family.

I watched many of the episodes with fondness, recalling the classic storylines from my youth. The episode where the family attempted to open a bakery out of their kitchen. The episode where Laura couldn't get a date for the dance. The episode where Aunt Rachel damaged Carl's police car the night before he was to drive it in a parade.

One episode I had absolutely no recollection of, however, is called 'Rock Video,' which actually serves as the first season finale. It involves Eddie and his friends making a music video for some sort of televisied music video competition. When his band members ditch Eddie after he hogs all the camera time, his family steps in to create the above music video with a family-friendly message to enter into the competiion.

(Spoiler alert: they win!)

The music video is positively absurd. It reminds me a little bit of The Cosby Show opening theme (but way lamer), where cast members showed off their dance moves. It also reminds me a little of that episode of Saved by the Bell where the girls shoot a music video under the name Hot Sundae. And of course it also reminds me of the equally-positive music video for 'You Gotta Believe,' by Lenni Frasier on Ghostwriter.

Producers clearly went to great measures to unnecessarily incorporate every cast member into this unnecessary culmination of an unnecessary storyline. Check out Mother Winslow at the tunrtables. Was it just mandatory in the 90s to produce a music video at some point in your sitcom's history?

Please take a watch, and let me know if you remember this storyline at all (I'm truly shocked I don't remember this ridiculousness).

Then let me know which part of the video is your favourite/most absurd. I'm so torn between Aunt Rachel's dramatic singing, the kids' dancing on the kitchen island, and the end sequence where the whole family sticks their head in a circle.

(Shockingly, Steve Urkel doesn't play a part in any of this.)

On the cover: Anne Hathaway for Interview

Anne Hathaway gives a dramatic stare on the cover of Interview magazine's September 2011 issue.

The 28-year-old actress, who currently stars in One Day, was photographed by Mert and Marcus, and interviewed by Chelsea Handler for the cover story.

As she's filming the role of Catwoman this summer for The Dark Knight Rises, Hathaway reveals to the mag her fears in the acting process.

"Not living up to the expectations of the director is pretty terrifying. Being exposed as a fraud—that's pretty terrifying. Then I think there's a vanity aspect of it. All of a sudden, you walk on the camera, and your ass looks horrible . . . The last one I can live with, but the other two are way more important," she says.

The in-depth interview covers a lot of ground, from Jersey Shore to the Oscars, as well as Anne's fashion icons.

"Right now, I'm obsessed with Kate Middleton. Obsessed. I loved the Royal Wedding. I was so cynical going into it, and pseudo-political about the whole thing, but as soon as I saw her I was utterly charmed. I'm just completely enchanted by Kate and William. With everything she's doing right now, I say, 'Yay, Kate.'"

Modern Family, Cougar Town age their babies

In case you missed it, here are the first publicity stills of Modern Family's new baby Lily, played by four-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

Yes, the producers decided it was time to grow Lily up for storyline purposes, and because they weren't sure the children who played original Lily -- Jaden and Ella Hiller -- were up for aging on a TV set.

I'll hold my judgement on new Lily until I see her in action, but personally, I'm really going to miss the original baby Lily, who we can all agree was the queen of deadpan. Her blank stares among the chaos around her were adorable, not to mention comedy magic.

Modern Family isn't the only ABC comedy to recast its youngest cast member, though. Producers of Cougar Town are also looking to age the little-seen Stan -- if only to give the characters some sort of responsibility.

“We decided to age Stan and make him somewhat of a real character because, well, the people on the show never go to work and Ellie and Andy never seem to acknowledge him,” executive producer Kevin Biegel says. “We figured it was probably time to give them a little real-life responsibility. Mind you, he’s only going to be around three years old now, so he’s not suddenly 12 or something.”

But fear not -- Stan will still only be an occasional part of the show, with wine being the constant supporting actor.

“People will still drink on the show... a lot," Biegel says. "There just may be a little three-year-old p—k-of-a-kid running around them every once in awhile. We promise, it won’t be cutesy or lame — we’re not going to ‘Cousin Oliver’ it."

I do hope these transitions go well. I'm still not over the time they recast Owen on Party of Five so he could be an older, whinier character. (Sorry Jacob Smith, you were no Andrew and Steven Cavarno).

How do you feel about Modern Family and Cougar Town aging their youngest characters?

Sighting!

Thursday eve, I met Alanna and company for drinks on the Hemingway's patio in Yorkville.

And who do I see what by as I take my seat? Canadian Animal Planet hunk Dave Salmoni, in a nice twight blue tshirt that perfectly shows off his hunkiness.

Chelsea Handler was one lucky woman when she was getting with that, let me tell you.

Mr. Salmoni
was enjoying patio drinks with a couple friends on the packed patio.

Earlier in the week he tweeted some pretty adorable photos of himself at the Bowmanville Zoo.

If you're still on the fence about Salmoni's hunkiness, click inside for a clip that will put your doubts to rest.

Anderson Cooper's case of the giggles

Anderson Cooper added Gerard Depardieu to his Ridiculist last night, after the actor reportedly peed on the floor of a plane.

The segment is full of mediocre puns. The entertaining part is watching Andy break down into the best case of giggles in foreva-eva. So. Cute.

"You always see this sort of thing on YouTube and you don't think it will actually happen to you," he manages to choke out as he laughs until he cries.

Oh man, can't wait for Anderson's daytime talk show.

You know how I love watching other people laugh.

Kelly Clarkson: Stronger on October 25

It's happening! It's really happening!

A day after her official website got a major overhaul, Kelly Clarkson announced the name of her fifth studio album is Stronger, and it will be released October 25.

Not only that, she confirmed her next single Mr. Know It All will premiere on August 30.

"Finally! My new single is called 'Mr. Know It All' and it’s coming to radio very soon. Also, my album, STRONGER, is officially coming out October 25th," Kelly wrote on Facebook. "GET READY CAUSE I AM!"

I am too, Kelly! I am, too!

Matt Bomer, McConaughey join Channing Tatum stripper movie

This just keeps getting better and better.

Matt Bomer and Matthew McConaughey are the latest hunks to be cast in Magic Mike, the film inspired by Channing Tatum's past stint as a stripper.

The Steven Soderbergh film sees Tatum play an old pro who takes a new young stripper played by Alex Pettyfer under his wing.

McConaughey will play a former dancer who now owns the club where the movie is set, while Bomer will play a stripper at the club.

God damn, I was already sold on this movie when only Channing was involved. Throw Bomer in there, and I don't even know what to do with myself.

Drake: Canada's Walk of Fame honour

Add one more to the list of awards for Canada's favourite Degrassi-star-turned-rapper.

Yes, young Drakey-Poo is now being honoured by Canada's Walk of Fame with the Allan Slaight Award, an annual prize for a young Canadian making a positive impact in the arts, sports or philanthropy.

Though a ceremony date has yet to be set, Drake will be presented with the $10,000 award by Canada's Walk of Fame and the Slaight Foundation in the coming months.

Drake generously plans to donate the prize money Dixon Hall, a Toronto agency working with low-income people.

What a guy.

A dream come true?

“I quit acting, actually. I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that’s pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life." -- Taylor Momsen to Elle

Kelly Clarkson: new website launch

In anticipation of her fifth album release this fall, Kelly Clarkson's website has been given an overhaul, which includes the first of her new promo photos, above.

"You can see all of my tweets (not that they’re groundbreaking), all of my blogs (whenever I feel like ranting or I find some great music), and any other news here on this site! Hope y’all like it! More to come!" Kelly writes.

The new site also lets you preorder her new album, despite the fact that a title and release date have yet to be announced.

Word is her official (official!) first single, Mr. Know It All, will be released on August 30.

This has been quite the wait for new Kelly. No doubt it will be worth it. In fact, it should help ease the pain of saying goodbye to summer.

Jake Epstein update

Last week Linda texts me: "Why didn't you tell me our friend Jake Epstein is in Billy Elliot?!"

My response: "He wasn't when I saw it. Who does he play?!"

I know, friends. Shameful that there's been a development in Jake Epstein's career and I wasn't right on top of it. After all those times we crossed paths at Chapters a few years ago. Sometimes you just lose touch, you know?

Well, the internet tells me that Epstein's addition to Toronto's production of Billy Elliot was announced in June.

He plays the role of Tony, Billy's older brother. Which makes sense, because he's too old to play Billy, too young to play Billy's dad and too male to play Billy's ballet teacher.

If you want to catch him in the role you better be quick. Billy Elliot's only playing in Toronto until September 3.

Epstein fan or not, I highly recommend going. It's a great show!

On the cover: Adam Levine for Out

Adam Levine is pretty damn fine on the latest cover of Out magazine.

The Maroon 5 singer and The Voice coach speaks candidly to the magazine about, well, quite a lot:
1. “I just love being as naked as possible all the time -- it feels really natural to me.”

2. “I’m extremely comfortable in my sexuality, so I can think, Oh, that’s a good-looking dude. Acknowledging that someone’s attractive and wanting to fuck a dude are two different things.”

3. “With a lot of guys who are hypersexual, it comes from some sort of disdain or dislike -- they’re guys who love getting laid but don’t really respect women. That doesn’t mean that I haven’t been totally promiscuous and slutty in my lifetime, because I have.”

Levine
also discusses growing up with his younger brother, who's gay.

“I can single-handedly dispel any ideas that sexuality is acquired,” he says, laughing. “Trust me, you’re born with it. My brother is gay, and we knew when he was two. We all knew.”

“We all really wanted to provide some cushion for him and constantly let him know that it’s okay. A lot of people don’t want their kid to be gay and will fight it at all costs. But I’ve got news for you—it’s a losing fucking battle. The more you fight it, the more fucked-up your kid’s gonna be. You’ve just gotta embrace it from the beginning. That’s the only way to deal with it as a family. Otherwise, you’re just screwing yourself over, and you’re gonna make your kid miserable.”

Crazy Stupid Love = Crazy Stupid Good

Crazy Stupid Love is crazy stupid fun, and not just because Ryan Gosling has an extended shirtless scene. (Though let's be honest, that sure doesn't hurt. Jesus Christ, he's beautiful).

The movie succeeds in bringing together some big and buzzworthy names (Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore and Emma Stone), to tell thoughtful and entertaining stories about love, at some points humourous and at others poignant.

Carell plays Cal, a hapless man whose wife (Moore) leaves him after the spark disappears from their marriage 25 years in. Gosling plays super-stud Jacob, who trains Cal to get back in the game. Jacob's an expert playa until young Hannah (Stone) walks into his life and shakes things up.

I'm often a little worried when too many names are attached to a specific project. We saw the trailer for New Year's Eve, for example, which looks like a cash grab (not to mention godawful) for each of the 17 top-billed stars in its cast. There's so many household names in that movie, there's no possible way it could tell an actual story.

But in Crazy Stupid Love, the cast -- as beautiful as some of them may be -- succeed in portraying characters in real relationships, with subtle nuances not common to so many slap-em-together romcoms these days.

Carell is a believable sad sack, while Moore channels moments of disillusionment and still looks more gorgeous than ever. Stone grows up a little bit, playing a law-school graduate with the spunk we've come to expect from her. And Gosling lightens up from his previous roles, stepping into expertly-tailored suits and showing off his playful side, in addition to his well-tanned and toned one.

The result is a romantic film that I think errs a little more on the side of drama than comedy, without taking itself too seriously. The chemistry is there thanks to some good writing and a cast of actors who commit to their craft.

Oh yeah, and Ryan Gosling takes his shirt off.

Oh hey there, Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore is positively breathtaking in this gorgeous new photo shoot for Neiman Marcus' The Art of Fashion ad campaign.

Photographed by Norman Jean Roy, Ms. Barrymore models fashion by the likes of Gucci, Prada, Emilio Pucci, Tom Ford and Armani, looking fierce in the process.

The first Neiman Marcus Art of Fashion campaign appeared in 1994, and was a revolutionary step for the retailer in featuring cutting edge fashion, provocative photography and unique styling.

Barrymore helps continue that tradition with these fah-lawless photos.

ICYMI: Miles Fisher's 'New Romance' vid

Miles Fisher expertly spoofs Saved by the Bell in this video for his original song 'New Romance.'

If you haven't heard of Miles Fisher, you're not alone. The video went viral over the past week, thanks to its roasting of everyone's favourite 90s Saturday-morning-sitcom.

From the Bayside and Max sets, to the cast of dopplegangers, and moves that largely resemble what my brother and I have traditionally refered to as "the Saved by the Bell dance," the video is pretty much perfection.

Plus the song's pretty catchy.

In addition to making viral videos, Fisher is an actor, who next appears in Final Destination 5. In fact, many of his Bayside classmates in this video also costar in FD5.

The clip is more than promotion for his new movie, however.

“I basically have always been looking for a way to dance with Kelly Kapowski my whole life, that was my dream growing up,” he tells EW.

Nothing like living (and killing) the dream in one fell swoop.

On the cover: Kristen Stewart for W

Kristen Stewart is glam beyond recognition on the September 2011 cover of W magazine.

The 21-year-old Twilight star got a little help from Edward Enninful, who styled the shoot, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Stewart admits she auditioned for Twilight before reading any of the popular book series, but tells the mag it later felt like a great fit.

"I fucking love me a vampire [Laughs]. I was 17 when I read Twilight, and at the time it was so perfect for me," she says. "The script was about young kids who think they can handle stuff that they just can’t. And they’re going to do it anyway. Because, why not? Just torture yourself. I relate to that. Vampires are a little dangerous—and we girls like to test ourselves."

Stewart also acknowledges she often comes across awkward in the press, but that she's not ungrateful for her current position.

"You want so badly for people to see what you do—you’re proud of it—and I like the effect that movies have on people. But the attention can also make me uncomfortable. In certain situations, people say to me, 'C’mon, what’s wrong with you?' I apologize. I love what I’m doing, but I’m a little uncomfortable."

Leighton Meester dresses down

It's refreshing to see that even our favourite Upper Eastsiders dress down every once in a while.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were photographed in NYC preparing to shoot Gossip Girl earlier this week, with Meester wearing a casual adidas hoodie, cutoff jean shorts, and flip flops.

Her hair was loose and wavy like I haven't seen from her before.

She wears designer all the time, but damn she even makes bumming wear look good.

The Look: Diane Kruger in Jason Wu

Diane Kruger had a little fun with fashion at the 20th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree in Hollywood Wednesday night.

The German beauty donned an ensemble by Jason Wu, that combined black shorts with a fitted navy tuxedo jacket, white shirt and black bowtie.

She finished the look with strappy sky blue heels and a light yellow python clutch from the Jason Wu Resort 2012 collection.

Fun and fashionable in a way only Ms. Kruger can pull off. I love it.

John Stamos and Bob Saget cuddle

Perpetual hunk John Stamos teamed up with College Humor to bring us this entertaining, not to mention educational, video on the best way to cuddle.

But little did he know his former Full House costar Bob Saget would be his demonstration partner!

I love knowing that after all these years, John and Bob are still friends, who apparently cuddle. This video also make me wonder what hijynx took place on the Full House set. If those walls could talk ...

Sighting!

Thanks to Erin for sending along this photo of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi eating lunch at Fresh on Bloor in Toronto today.

The couple were dining in a booth directly across from her with a male friend -- what a great view!

Portia's lunch came in a large noodle bowl, encouraging speculation that she ordered one of Fresh's large noodle bowls for lunch.

She wore cute capris, while Ellen donned a seasonal hat.

Ellen was in town to participate in a Power of Women speakers event.

Though Erin didn't see anyone approach the couple to say hi, she heard of other Ellen sightings around Yorkville after lunch.

Celebrities sure love their Fresh. A few years ago, you may recall, I spotted two Jonas Brothers mowing down at the Bloor location.
