Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier web series: Can't Get Arrested

Those former Full House cast members work fast.

Just a couple weeks after tweeting on-set photos, Dave Coulier has premiered his new web series Can't Get Arrested, costarring Jodie Sweetin and Dennis Haskins.

Some might call it unfunny; others would argue it's not entertaining.

I'll clearly keep watching anyway.

How tight are James Van Der Beek's jeans?

Pretty damn tight, right?

JVDB was photographed shooting his new ABC sitcom Don't Trust The Bitch in Apartment 23 with Krysten Ritter in New York City last weekend.

I make fun, but I can't hate. This 2011 tight-jeaned, leather-jacketed Dawson Leery? Yeah, I totally would.

Two more photos inside.

Kelly Clarkson on The View

The voice of a generation, Kelly Clarkson, was her regular adorable self as she appeared on The View today to promote her new album Stronger.

Kelly caught the ladies up on how focusing on her career over a love life has resulted in certain public perceptions.

"I'm from a small town, so everybody's married with children. And that's why people think I'm gay! 'Cause they're like 'I don't understand why you're not married.' And I'm like, well it doesn't happen for everybody right off the bat," she told the ladies. "I'm from Burleson Texas, I'm like an old maid."

Still, Kelly wouldn't have it any other way right now.

"I haven't found anybody that I would put [my career] on the side for. And I think that's my purpose, music. I think that's what I'm here for. I might not want to do this when I'm 50, so I might as well do as much of it now as I can."

The Look: Carey Mulligan in Bottega Veneta

Carey Mulligan was positively flawless on the red carpet of the Hollywood Film Awards last night in L.A.

The 26-year-old actress wore a multi-sheen Bottega Veneta dress in black, cinched with a belt at the waist.

Soft makeup and expertly swept-back hair help make this look.

Closeup inside.

Oh hey there, Miss Piggy

Miss Piggy is fierce as all hale in the pages of InStyle Magazine this month.

In anticipation of next month's new feature The Muppets, Miss Piggy offers her five style commandments, and models designs by Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Brian Atwood, Suno, Opening Ceremony and more.

"I was, as the saying goes, born this way: perfect," Piggy tells the mag. "It's a gift, but one must take care of it each and every day -- ideally with the help of a humungous team of stylists, personal trainers, doctors, lawyers and other sycophants."

You've got to love a star of such magnitude exercising such humility.

More great Miss Piggy modeling photos inside!

When you're Drake ...

... you can dress like this on your birthday.

Jimmy Brooks celebrated his 25th birthday at TAO Nightclub in Vegas over the weekend, wearing an outfit he'll surely regret when he looks back on it at the ripe old age of 26.

The Look: Freida Pinto in Ralph Lauren

Freida Pinto was positively breathtaking as she walked the BFI London Film Festival red carpet for the premeire of her new movie Trishna on Saturday.

The 27-year-old actress wore a dazzling Ralph Lauren Fall 2012 jumpsuit, which fell beautifully over her frame.

A red Ralph Lauren clutch matches her lip colour and the accents on her black heels.

A perfeclty-coiffed updo finishes the look.

Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger': On sale now

In case you were unaware, Kelly Clarkson's new album 'Stronger' went on sale today!

I downloaded my copy from iTunes in the wee hours of the morning, and have obviously been listening all morning.

I'll take it in a bit longer before offering my in-depth opinion. But I will tell you, this is a pretty exciting Kelly album.

It's poppy, without being so overtly radio-friendly, like pretty much every song on her previous album All I Ever Wanted.

It's got a little bit more attitude, a little bit more soul, a little bit more groove. But it's still so Kelly.

I can tell why Kelly was so excited to get this album out. Seems she's been able to expand her music ever so slightly beyond the power-pop formula that's worked so well for her in the past.

She's having fun with these songs, and I sure am having fun listening to them.

Sophie B. Hawkins, and other pleasant iPod surprises

"I had a dream I was your hero!"

Yesterday I did a major clean on my apartment, and to switch things up a little bit I ventured to shuffle the 3,282 songs on my iPod.

I've had my iPod since 2006, and just might die if and when it kicks to bucket. But it also has so much music on it that I haven't listened to forever. It's got the emo from my high school and undergrad days, through to my pop tastes of today, plus a whole bunch of 90s nostalgia.

So, just 'cause, I thought I'd share a few gems I became reacquanted with yesterday as I mopped my floors.

Sophie B. Hawkins, you're the greatest.

(These are but the highlights.)

The Look: Dianna Agron in Libertine

Dianna Agron looked her beautiful self as she arrived to the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund show last week.

The gorgeous Glee star wore a perfeclty pretty Libertine Spring 2012 dress, featuring a black and white print.

It's not super flashy, but she looks quite lovely in it.

I wasn't a fan when she first cut her hair over the summer, but now that it's grown out a bit, and gone back to a softer look, I'm back on the Agron fashion bandwagon.

TV's Best Worst Very Special Episodes

My cousin Jass and my dear friend Jillian both passed the above video to me last week, prompting me to share it with you.

"I think you'll like this," Jass wrote.

"This has Chris Mejaski written all over it," Jillian added.

So in case you've yet to see it, here's a compilation of TV's Best Worst Very Special Episodes.

It's hardly exhaustive, but does include a few classics, and is a great reminder of the power of the 90s sitcom -- from Stephanie almost smoking on Full House, to Jessie totes getting hooked on caffeine pills on Saved by the Bell.

What's your favourite clip? And what very special episode do you think should be included? The whole first season of the original 90210 was very lesson-y, and could fill up its own 10-minute montage, I say.

Kelly Clarkson on ...

AUTOTUNE:
"I understand why people use it for texture but I grew up listening to Patsy Cline and Aretha Franklin – they weren’t perfectly ‘on’ all the time. However, if you listen to Ain’t No Way by Aretha Franklin, you’ll think: ‘Oh, that’s how you do it.’ There’s a lot to be said for performances that are raw and emotional and not perfect. When I hear Since U Been Gone or My Life Would Suck Without You, I love the songs but the vocal is so compressed it kills me."

THE WORST CAREER ADVICE SHE'S RECEIVED:
"That I needed to work on my ‘superficial relationship skills’. I was like: ‘Are you fucking for real? Working on superficial relationships is not what I want to do with my time.’ He was like: ‘You really need to do it.’ I couldn’t believe it was happening. If I’m in a working environment, I expect everyone to contribute to it. This guy just wanted me to nod and say yes and be like a robot."

WHAT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY HAS TAUGHT HER:
"Not to put value in frivolous, meaningless stuff such as fame. I see so many examples of what I don’t want to be around me. There are so many people who focus on the wrong things. Their career lasts five minutes and they’re gone and you’re like: ‘That’s because you were a tool. What did you expect?’"

THE MOST RIDICULOUS PROMO STUNT SHE'S DONE:
|I did this TV show in Europe where I had to drive a big monster truck with a lance on the front and had to pick up handbags with it. I didn’t know what the hell was going on."

NOT INSISTING ON WRITING CREDITS:
"That pisses me off. As a writer. And I've got a lot writer friends. There's songs I've tweaked perspective, but if my name is on a song I wrote the lyrics and melody. There's songs like What Doesn't Kill You or certain parts of Mr Know-It-All, if I didn't write it I usually make it my own, but I don't give myself a credit because the song is already there. I know a lot of artists say, 'If you want your song on my record, I get 50 per cent' and I'd like to kick them in the face. That's people's livelihoods. It's just so lame."

GETTING IN TROUBLE FOR SPEAKING HER MIND:
"All the time. But that's OK. I'd rather be honest, I think that's what people like about me. I'm never malicious, but I say the obvious truth. That's important."

Kelly's new album Stronger is out this week!

Lake Shore thankfully over before it begins

In the best news to hit Canadian entertainment all year, the shameful Toronto-based Jersey Shore rip-off Lake Shore has been scrapped, after producers failed to convince any network to air the racial stereotype-boasting "reality" series.

Lake Shore was to depict what happens when eight strangers of different backgrounds shack up together and get up to bullshit shenanigans to rival the Jersey Shore "guidos." The series made headlines last year, after a trailer hit the internet with cast members refered to by their ethnicities ("The Italian," "The Lebanese," etc.), and an anti-semitic comment from one character.

According to the Star, show producer Maryam Rahimi emailed the cast earlier this month saying the project is officially dead, after failing to draw interest from networks.

“I am sorry to say this, but it's over,” Rahimi wrote. "“We became victims of circumstances. It was no one’ fault, this is just the way business is."

Thank god. Because I don't want to live in a world where shit like this makes the air, and quality Canadian content like So You Think You Can Dance Canada is canceled.

Cast member Salem Moussallam, who auditioned to generate business for his Queen St. W consignment shop, sums up the production in but four words.

"It’s been really embarrassing,” he tells The Star.

Beauty & The Beast returning to Toronto in 2012

Well this is exciting news for me!

DanCap announced its 2012 lineup in Toronto yesterday, and among the live theatre we can expect in Toronto next year is the return of Disney's Beauty & The Beast.

Beauty & The Beast was the first live musical I saw when I was a young one, and I was pretty amazed at the magic unfolding before my eyes. So you better believe I'll be hitting the theatre when it comes to the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts next July. (Just in time for my birthday!)

Other shows coming to Toronto as part of DanCap's new slate:

  • American Idiot (will prob see)
  • In The Heights (will prob see)
  • Shrek The Musical (pass)
  • West Side Story (if there's a deal on tickets)
  • Million Dollar Quartet (saw it in Chicago!)
  • Prince of Broadway (a new musical under development about Broadway director and producer Harold “Hal” Prince)
  • A Christmas Story, The Musical! (maybe for a seasonal outing)

Beyonce: 'Love On Top' music video

Beyonce has released the above music video for Love On Top, my favourite Beyonce song in foreva-eva.

I fully plan to use this song for the first dance at my wedding, so if you plan to be in my wedding party, this is the choreography we're all going to be learning.

Beyonce took to her website to explain the inspiration behind the video:
I have worked very hard on this video, this song is special to me and I had an idea for the video based on some of my favorite male groups. I remember seeing videos from New Edition, The Jackson 5 and the Temptations, bands I love for their beautiful harmonies, and precise choreography and I always wanted to make a video and be part of a boy group myself. It was so much fun. I put my heart and soul into "Love On Top" and I hope you love it.
I do love it, Beyonce. I do.

I may even have to invest in a fabulous weave and wind machine to fully encapsulate the spirit of the song.

On the cover: Nicki Minaj for W

Nicki Minaj has a whole new look on the November 2011 cover of W Magazine.

Dubbed the 'Fashion Meets Art' issue, Minaj was photographed by Francesco Vezzoli for an “Ultimate Makeover” photo spread.

“I wanted to play with the public image of a female hip-hop star," Vezzoli explains of the ultimate result. "“In her performances, Minaj makes very explicit and challenging use of her beauty and her body, so I thought of comparing her to some of the most famous courtesans in history: the Marquise de Montespan, Comtesse du Barry, Madame de Pompadour, and Madame Rimsky-Korsakov.

"My idea was to reproduce four iconic portraits of some of the most fascinating females of the past in a series starring an American pop-culture role model. We tried to re-create those original portraits using similar furniture, props, and clothing, à la Visconti. Luckily enough, the result came out as surreal as it could be, just as I wished.”

While we're used to Minaj making bold fashion choices, this shoot shows her in a whole new light!

Do we like New Lily yet?

So we're a few weeks into Modern Family's third season. Have we warmed to New Lily yet?

I actually don't have a hate on for her. While I do miss Original Lily, my main fear was that New Lily would be obnoxiously precocious. As it stands, she mostly just says a few words here and there.

The whole point of this discussion, however, is to direct you to the above video, in which Jesse Tyler Ferguson discusses the switch with Ellen DeGeneres. It all leads up to a pretty adorable blooper with New Lily, played by Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

The Muppets: Second official trailer!

"I wish she'd shot a little more curvy."

Ohmigoodness, this is so exciting.

With just more than a month till the theatrical release of The Muppets, the fine folks at Disney have released this second official trailer.

Irreverent comedy!

Celebrity cameos!

Singing chickens!

The Moopets!

Fart shoes!

What more could you want from a Muppet movie?!

Based on the trailer, it looks like the Muppets could be back in a big way come November 23.

Can't. Wait.

Friday deliciousness: Henry Cavill

If this doesn't sell a film I have absolutely no interest in, then nothing will.

Ch-check out these hot new production stills of Henry Cavill from his new movie Immortals, out November 11.

The 28-year-old British actors plays Theseus, founder and king of Athens, son of Poseidon and the film's protagonist.

Anyone who had reservations about Henry being cast as the new Superman should rest assured after seeing his bangin' bod in these shots.

Oh geeze -- this just in. Moments after I wrote this post, the following photo of Cavill on the set of Superman Man of Steel hit the interwebs:

Holy lord, I'm not much for superhero movies, but I like where this is going. A lot.

More photos from each photo set inside!

Bonus deliciousness: Kellan Lutz

Jesus fucking christ.

If you've ever looked at Kellan Lutz' hot, ripped body and thought "That's sure is pretty. But what can it do?" then watch the video above.

The hot hot hunk posed for the November 2011 cover of Men's Fitness, in a shoot that included hanging situps, pushups, barrel lifts and barrel jumps. Shirtless.

Basically, prepare to feel incredibly inadequate but also so so turned on.

Then click inside for Kellan's cover photo.

Happy Friday!

Channing and Bomer and Pettyfer, oh my!

These new photos of the cast of Magic Mike on a boat in Tampa hit the interwebs a couple days ago, and it's taken until now for me to pick my jaw up off the floor in order to share them with you.

Here's five more (more!) reasons Magic Mike is a must-see. If you're not convinced, I'm not sure how we're friends.

1. Channing Tatum

Adam Scott on ...

GETTING HIS 'PARKS AND REC' GIG:
"I actually auditioned for it before it was even on the air. I really wanted it and didn't get it; I actually kind of blew it, and so I was obviously pretty upset—I really wanted to be a part of it from the beginning. So when the opportunity popped up again a couple years later, I was really excited. I went and had a meeting with [showrunner and co-creator] Mike Schur, and then it all just kind of fell into place from there."

WHETHER BEN WYATT REALLY IS A NERD:
"Well, I think one of the funny things about Pawnee is that no matter who it is, any outsider may as well be an alien landing from Neptune. They're just a ridiculous person if they don't just think that Pawnee is the center of the universe. So I think no matter how you dress or talk or how funny you are or whatever, if you're not from there, automatically you're just met with absolute suspicion. Like if you don't think that Li'l Sebastian is the most important being in the universe, there is something wrong with you."

FAME:
"Well, you know, it's weird, because when I think of someone that's famous, you know, I think about—people who are actually famous, their lives are a lot different than mine. Like, I get Parks and Rec fans and Party Down fans coming up and wanting to talk about the shows, which I'm more than happy to do because they're always super friendly, cool people. But people who are actually famous, who are walking around with TMZ following them and stuff, that's a whole different thing, so I would stop short of saying I'm famous and maybe say that I'm well-known among people that like funny, nerdy things."

WORKING WITH FRIENDS LIKE PAUL RUDD AND JON HAMM:
"I love working with friends; it's my favorite thing to do. I've found over the years that that ends up being the best way to spend my time. If I'm going to be away from my family, I'd rather it be working with my friends. So being on Parks and Party Down and doing Friends with Kids, it's really lucky that I get to do it with people that I dearly love."

Cougar Town is infiltrating your favourite TV shows!

Though ABC has yet to confirm a premiere date for Cougar Town's third season, we'll be seeing its cast back on TV real soon.

Starting with this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, Cougar Town cast members will start popping up in non-speaking roles on some of the world's favourite TV shows.

The idea, according to show creator Bill Lawrence, is to keep Cougar Town in the minds of TV viewers, even if it isn't back on the air yet.

"We decided it might be funny to say our cast is going to be on in the fall more than any other cast," Lawrence says.

So, look out for Cougar Town's Ian Gomez dressed as a Seattle Grace doc during this week's Grey's Anatomy. Courteney Cox and Christa Miller, meanwhile, have shot sneaky cameos as a lesbian couple at a fertility clinic on Private Practice.

Lawrence says 13 shows are currently on board for the Cougar cast cameos, and he hopes to get this number up to 20. Participating series include ABC's Body of Proof, Castle, Man Up! and The Middle. The cul de sac crew will even be popping up in shows on competing networks, like CBS' How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Girls, Nick's Yo Gabba Gabba!, and NBC's Parenthood. In return, Cougar Town cast members will tweet about their cameos to attract new eyes to the various series.

"The fun thing is that if you can get to this point, the idea behind it, as writers and creators, is that we can help each other out," Lawrence says.

I love this idea so much. I think it reflects the Cougar Town's cast love of their show, and their fun-loving nature, that they're finding new and awesome ways to promote it before it's even back on the air.

If you catch any of their cameos, please let me know!

The Look: Emma Stone in Giorgio Armani

Emma Stone is just my favourite on the red carpet. She's always trying something different, and most often pulls it off!

This time around she rocked the Vanity Fair/Giorgio Armani private dinner in L.A. in a fantastic metallic Giorgio Armani spring 2012 dress.

Featuring black stripes and a silver-green gradient, the knee-length dress is gathered at the waist for a ruched detail. The design is clean but exciting, and a perfect fit for Ms. Stone's natural flare.

Emma finished her look with a side-part and taupe Brian Atwood pumps.

Hollywood's best 'Fuck you!' moments

Having a bad day?

Next time you are, might I suggest you watch this five minute montage of people telling others "Fuck you!" in Hollywood film, to help ease your own tension.

Thanks again, internet. You're the best friend a guy could ask for.

Q&A: Brandon MacIntosh talks 'The Right Hand'

What was the most memorable job you ever worked to get that ever-important career experience?

After taking on a production assistant job with Porno Dan's Immoral Productions, Brandon McIntosh of Ayr, Ont. has an easy answer to that question.

Responding to an ad on Craigslist, the film school graduate quickly found himself the subject of The Right Hand, a comedy/reality show airing latenight on TMN/Movie Central that follows his eye-opening experience as a porno production assistant.

I spoke with Brandon last week to find out how he got the gig, what transferable skills he gained, and what he told his Grandma about this new career development.

Tweet tweet: Alanis Morissette

so damn exciting!!!

Wednesday deliciousness: Dylan McDermott

Last week's series premiere of American Horror Story was a ratings success for U.S. cable network FX, no doubt helped along the way by the hotness that is Dylan McDermott.

I've had the hots for Dylan since his days on The Practice, so the fact that he doffs his clothes and gives us a full-on ass shot in the series premiere is almost enough to get me watching this Ryan Murphy series. Almost.

The series is coming north of the border with the launch of FX Canada on October 31, Rogers announced yesterday.

In the meantime, let's all have fun ogling this production still from the series' second episode.

Happy Wednesday!

Would Kelly Clarkson be a bum or boobs man?

If Kelly Clarkson was a dude, would she be a bum or boobs man?

Who is her celebrity crush?

How does she feel about turning 30 next April?

What's the worst pickup line used on her?

And can she pull off an Australian accent?

The voice of a generation answered all these questions and more, in a rapid fire Q&A for MTV in Australia.

Press play, and get to know Kelly Clarkson a little deeper.

Her new album Stronger is out October 24.

Roseanne returning to TV with new sitcom?

This is very exciting news.

Though she returned to TV just this year with a new reality show, it appears Roseanne may now get back to what we know she does so well -- the family sitcom!

NBC has ordered a script for Downwardly Mobile, described as a blue-collar sitcom, which would revolve around Roseanne and a new fictional on-screen family, who live in a mobile home community.

Roseanne's first sitcom was ground-breaking and refreshing and honest and real, and I sure hope she can once again make some noise across the television landscape.

Also, I wouldn't complain if she cast Laurie Metcalf as her on-screen sister once again.

"i hope the pressure of a new sitcom and running for president as well as farming will not b 2 much 4 me!" Roseanne tweeted yesterday.

For a regular person, maybe. But not for you, Roseanne!

Q&A: William deVry talks InSecurity season two

Launched last year as a parody of the spy and procedural genres, CBC's InSecurity debuted a rejigged format when it returned for its second season last week: that of your more traditional office sitcom.

Set in Ottawa, at the fictional National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), the show revolves around secret agent Alex Cranston (Natalie Lisinska) and her team of spies, as they juggle "dates, terrorists, pets, ex-boyfriends and the safety of the nation."

Yup, typical office comedy stuff.

Last week I spoke with William deVry, who plays NISA director Peter McNeil , a character whose strengths include delegation, supervision and cheekbones.

DeVry gave me the scoop on season two's format changes, his approach to his character, and what it's like shooting in Regina.

On the cover: Gwen Stefani for Fashion

Gwen Stefani covers the November 2011 issue of Canada's Fashion magazine.

Sadly, she's not there to promote the new No Doubt album, which we can't expect till 2012. She's promoting her work in fashion, including her new line of children's clothes 'Harajuku MInis.'

Photographed by S.C. Choong and styled by Michael Angel, Gwen still has her style in tact!

The Rosie Show premieres today!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving here in Canada, we've got something great to be thankful for: The Rosie Show premieres today!

Rosie O'Donnell's latest foray into television sees the comedian hosting her own show once again, this time on OWN.

Russell Brand is Rosie's first guest, and she lists Adele, Melissa McCarthy, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as celebs she'd love to have on in the future.

Here's what we can expect from the show, according to our pal Ro:
I’m going to do about 10 minutes of standup. I’m going to take questions from the audience like Carol Burnett did. We’re going to go to commercial, come back and have a guest probably for three full segments. One thing I really didn’t like about my old show and about the trend that’s happening on talk shows today is the guests get like five minutes, six minutes, and you can’t really get a conversation going in that amount of time . . . Then we’re going to have a human-interest segment or a rolled-in piece, and we’re going to play a game at the end of every show.
For more from Rosie as she launches her new show, click here.

The Rosie Show premieres tonight at 7 p.m. on OWN.

The Look: Emma Stone in Luca Luca

Emma Stone brought her A-game to the London premiere of The Help last week.

The actress wore a floor-length dress by Luca Luca, featuring black-on-white polka dots, a slit up to there, black belt cinching the waist and cutout sleeves.

Black Brian Atwood pumps, sideswept hair and red lips complete the look.

Do you love?

On the cover: Florence Welch for Interview

Florence Welch in black and white graces the November 2011 cover of Interview.

The Florence + the Machine singer is interviewed by Baz Luhram for the cover story, in which she reminisces about performing for a crowd full of A-listers at the Met Ball earlier this year.

"It was just one of those moments where I realized that my life had become a very strange place," she says. "When you’re dressed up as David Bowie, with your eyebrows completely bleached, and you’re doing this kind of strange dance with Paul McCartney while singing 'Rebel Rebel' in the middle of the Met ball, and Madonna’s looking at you . . . I was just thinking, It’s become a bit weird."

At a normal show, however, Florence is all about the fans.

"What I really like seeing from the stage is people having their own moments, when people are doing some performance of their own. I like seeing people acting out the moves," she says. "I was always that girl growing up who you could find dancing down supermarket aisles. It’s that sense of not feeling inhibited. Dancing in supermarkets is my favorite thing."

I'll have to try that next time I'm at No Frills!

Kelly Clarkson releases 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)'

Oh this is so exciting.

Kelly Clarkson took to the interwebs tonight, to release the song 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' from her upcoming album Stronger.

"Hey ya'll - I heard that some versions of 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' started showing up online. My new album Stronger is out in 3 weeks (Oct 24) and I want you to hear the real thing! Check it out!" Kelly wrote.

It's true -- this song leaked this past summer.

And it is so much fun! Once you get past the first verse it's non-stop dance fun.

It would've made a great opening single from the album. But that's okay -- it's not too late for it to be a great second single!

Here it is on YouTube. (Embedding disabled)

In the 90s, this was edgy

Need a reminder that 1990 was a simpler time, even on the television?

Look no further than this promo for ABC's fall lineup, featuring the casts of Doogie Howser, M.D., Family Matters, Growing Pains, Roseanne, Full House, Who's The Boss, Perfect Strangers,The Wonder Years and more.

This shit would so not fly on TV today. But I would buy it on DVD if they started packaging classic promos like this.

Also, what a great era in television that all these sitcoms were on in the same week!

Thanks to Best Week Ever for bringing this to my attention.

Look out for Candace Cameron teaching people to read giant cue cards.

On the cover: Kristen Stewart for Glamour

After participating in a fully-styled, professionally-photographed and subsequently-airbrushed photo shoot, you might expect Kristen Stewart to come out looking slightly less awkward than usual.

And yet, despite being glossed-up, The Stew resembles a pretzel on the November cover of Glamour.

Seriously now, the girl is pretty. That face -- despite being too airbrushed -- is working for me.

But who suggested she sit in such an unnatural fashion? I'm uncomfortable just looking at it.

More from her cover story here.

Florence + The Machine: 'Shake It Out' video

"And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back."

Check out the inspired new video for 'Shake It Out,' the first single off Florence + The Machine's upcoming album Ceremonials.

The song, the video, the styling. All absolutely stunning.

Ceremonials is out November 1. Officially on my must list.

Five faves from David Guetta's 'Nothing But The Beat'

I was feeling quite the music drought earlier this month, until I purch'd David Guetta's 'Nothing But The Beat.'

Collaborating with the likes of Usher, TImbaland, Jennifer Hudson and Taio Cruz, the producer has created an album of non-stop party tracks that are sure to have you moving.

We've all heard (and loved!) the lead single Where Them Girls At, featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj.

But here are five other tracks I love from the album -- I think you'll love them too.

Magic Mike is my kind of movie

How excited am I for Magic Mike, the Steven Soderbergh film loosely based on Channing Tatum's past as a stripper?

Let's count the ways with these on-set photos ...

1. Channing Tatum. Vest. Gun show.

The Look: Leighton Meester in Christian Dior

Leighton Meester was perfectly pretty at the Christian Dior Spring 2012 fashion show in Paris on Friday.

As fall weather sets in, it sure is nice to be thinking ahead to spring 2012 already.

Meester wore a delightful knee-length Christian Dior number in white, featuring ruffled bodice and tiered skirt.

The Gossip Girl star paired it with Louis Vuitton black pumps, and a Dior clutch with chainlink shoulder strap.

I'm officially off the Gossip GIrl bandwagon, but I'm glad to say watching Meester's fashion choices keeps me much more entertained than her TV show anyway!
