Claire Danes' 1995 Golden Globes acceptance speech
After watching the first season of Homeland in about a week earlier this month, I've become pretty obsessed with incomparable actress of our generation Claire Danes.
So I was ecstatic to see her win a Golden Globe for her work on Homeland last weekend, at which point she mentioned her 1995 Golden Globe win for My-So Called Life at the age of 15.
I decided to dig up her 1995 acceptance speech, and discovered she was just as charming then as she is now! Check it out above, at the 6:40 mark.
Below, teenaged Danes tells the Golden Globes press room about her busy shooting schedule, being a young actress on the rise, and lessons from Winona Ryder.
Back then and today she seems so level-headed and unaffected by celebrity, which I just love love love.
